2021 – Amy & daughter Mimi launched as Mimi’s Mugs, creating personalised gifts
2022 – Expanded into embroidery with a commercial machine
2023 – Grew to meet demand, adding a second embroidery machine
2024 – Moved into a dedicated workspace, offering in-person garment selection and won Theo Paphitis’s Small Business Sunday award 🏆
2025 – Our family grew! We added an industrial embroidery machine to our collection which will speed up production and increase the area we can embroider.

As an owner of Mimi’s Embroidery & Print, Amy wears many hats – customer service specialist, order coordinator, embroiderer, and printer. With a background in art, design and fashion, creativity has always been at the heart of her work.

Mimi’s provides the perfect outlet to explore and refine a wide range of embellishment techniques, bringing unique high-quality designs to life. With a passion for learning, Amy continuously expands her skills through training to stay at the forefront of her craft. From the first enquiry to the final product, she ensures a smooth, personalised experience, turning branded visions into reality with precision, care, and creativity.

Richard - Owner

As a joint owner of Mimi’s, Richard manages a little bit of everything else like accounts, ordering, embroidery, and even tech support. With a strong foundation in problem solving, he ensures that every part of the business runs smoothly, from behind the scenes operations to hands on embroidery work the business couldn’t run without him.

Olga is a highly skilled and experienced digitizer known for creating exceptional stitch work.
